I am new to marketing on the internet, and find the whole subject quite fascinating. I have been involved in marketing and promotions with an international company for around 5 years and have a passion for writing, graphic design and finding ways to promote the company using low cost and no cost marketing strategies.
As part of my normal day job I also assist independent business owners in marketing and promoting the add-on business they have purchased from our company. The first question I ask is how they market their current business. As a rule most say they find it quite daunting to even think about the subject, they feel that it is an expensive process – money down the drain so to speak, and would much prefer to use word of mouth, and as to internet to marketing? – Well that’s another realm completely.
So I have to change their mindset and introduce them to simple low cost and no cost marketing tips, tricks and strategies to market and promote their business. And that is also why I have started up this blog. Among its pages I will share what I have learnt from my journey into internet marketing and ways to promote your business using its many and varied tools. My main aim is to pass on what I have learnt, whether that be through books I have read, courses I have attended, websites I have visited, or even insights I have leant upon the way.
